We would love to have you at our Food Forest Celebration tomorrow 6 November 2016 1-4pm

Dear All,

the Eastern Suburbs Permaculture Group & our Food Forest Ashburton Group
are celebrating the Winton Road Food Forest in Ashburton
that we have been creating since 2011,
planting since 2012,
and extending in 2016.
We are celebrating especially all the hard work this winter
that went into planting 13 trees by hand tools into
rocky clay
13  times we dug sixty by sixty centimetres –
and we shifted a mountain of soil (12 metres) and wood chips –
that took 4 weekends with about 20 people.
Great community effort!
Now we are back to planting little plants and taking out weeds
and enjoying the place and some produce.
After working bees we have lunch together at the new shelter.
