Come join us in the beautifully humming, flowering and food producing Food Forest in the valley at Winton Road at a working bee 🙂
This is your garden too to enjoy!
Working bees are informal but informative gardening sessions which may include harvesting, planing and tending to the plants – planting, watering, weeding, pruning, mulching, and harvesting again. Light and heavy work available.
We dig holes to compost and to catch water.
We learn about plants and cooking them. – Come armed with gardening gloves, a hat and a drink – and if you like your tools of choice. Come one, come all, all welcome.
The active gardeners plant what they choose and want to harvest – within reason.
Working bees are at least twice a month:
on the 4th Saturday of each month (except December or thunder or frost)
9 – 11am
and on most Thursdays.
🙂
see you there sometime, Petra and the food foresters.
Dates for the remaining Saturdays in 2021:
Saturdays: 26 June – 24 July – 28 August – 25 September – 23 October –
27 November (holiday break-up)
